I inherited my love of tea from my late mother Ena Fay, not a day went by where she didn't have a cup. Growing up in Jamaica it was tradition, you started every day with tea. From "bush" tea when she needed to treat ailments to her routine cup of Red Rose black tea in the morning and at night, right before bed. Mom had a cup religiously.

I can still remember her calling me on her way home from work saying "put on the kettle, mi need a cup of tea when mi reach home". It became our tradition and overtime I looked forward to her call and having her tea ready, so we could sip and go over how our days went. Today my love of tea remains and I've poured my heart, creativity and grief into this brand. 

The Tea Ingredient was created to bring bold unique flavors to cups everywhere, inspire people to get creative and reimagine how they enjoy tea. This company is my ode to my mom, bringing to life a tradition we shared.
